We have 3 garages but my dads building a motorbike in one, has a 40 year old 30k classic mark 2 Jag in the other, and in the third one he has a hideous torqouise and cream Ford Zodiac.....

Lol, well they are not budget covers.... they are made to highest quality...
and used by Aston Martin, Porsche and other expensive car makers... they are not cheap... but they will look after your car...
you get what you pay for, and if you look after your car, it will look after you etc...
i think they all are over £100+

You can also get, depending on how much room you have, a static outside carcoon.
Its a step up from the covers, and consequently so is the price
BUT it depends on how much you want to keep the car as it is, even with a car cover etc.. the car may still rust a little, regular waxing, and cleaning of the underside, plus routine checks of the underseal, and re-applying where needed is a good habit to get into.

He is true in what he says but if you are going to use it more or less day to day then the condensation will not be a problem. Just pulling the dam thing off every morning will be !!! not only that , the cheap ones need to be tied down otherwise they just decide to parachute and fly away.

If you decide to take the exhaust off, it might be worth keeping the standard one if it is an S2 one, there arent many about now wi standard exhausts on them!!!
You had chance to wash and polish it yet?

I am suprised your parents allowed that, as most parents object to such high insurance costs
