Default Advice on lowering my rst

Ok my car needs new springs and I'm looking for a set of lowering ones, just not sure how low I can go or what's best for my car, anyway it's series 2, it's on std shocks which il need to keep on just now, I would like to go quite low but not stupidly, my car has 17" rs7 diamond cut alloys, on it as well and if just ordered a set of 195 40 17 tyres, any advice appreciated before I go out and buy the wrong ones lol, if it's any help I'd love it to look like this one.

When my car was on -60mm springs it was no where near as low as that one in the picture! That is very low.
Also it was beyond awful to drive. Always hitting the bump stops, catching the exhaust everywhere... etc

If you are on stock shocks, I wouldnt go lower than 20-25mm.
