Default Boost question

Hi guys I'm Nearing the end of my erst build it runs spot on but it doesn't sound like a turbo as if there's no boost when I Rev it , so reluctantly I fitted a dv to see if whom tooshed nothing boost gauge is just showing vaccum only the waste-gate in the housing was pretty stiff so I changed it for another witch moved freely still nothing I've looped the turbo bleed valve Amal valve nothing changes only thing I can think of would be the actuator itself is a -31 from a cosworth and I never bothers changing the length in it ? Is there any difference ? I'll await the sarcastic comments

It will only produce boost under load, revving it will do nothing.

I guess a lot of it is down to the spec, engine and turbo choice being the two big factors. A T3 is a large turbo to spool up for your engine.

If you are running a twin piston dump valve you need quite a bit of positive pressure in the inlet system to lift the secondary valve of it's seat
Try it up the road under load

It's not quite finished yet so that will have to wait

As Tony says try it up the road when you can, but if it's a stock T3 then you should be able to get it to 'dump' or even chatter a little (EFI) from just revving it (Although just to point out if this is a fresh engine build you shouldn't be revving it at all!).
