Default Engine refit question...

Hopfully should have my engine back in a couple of weeks,
when i took it out it dropped it from the bottom with the head off
but when it comes back it will completely built up.

What im wondering is can i put the gearbox back in now and
lower the engine backin and then bolt it up to the box or does
the box have to be bolted on the engine and dropped back in together?

Cheers.

i always bolt the box to the engine and slide it under the car then hoist it up into the engine bay, its the easiest way to do it

vroooom ptssssh, your not wrong there m8 i scrached the f**ker when i put mine back in and i had it all painted
as far as putting it back in i've done 5 or so 1 turbo and 4 xr's i've done 4 from the top and the other was a crapper so it come out from the bottom (but we had a fork lift to lift the car up ) and i would always put the box on first
