Default WTF help please

.

I've got a gearbox oil leak INSIDE the car, the oil is coming up the speedo cable and dripping out the back of the clocks onto my feet.

How the fuck is that happening, I've been driving fwd fords for 20 years and never seen this before, I also have a small leak at the speed sensor, have I lost a seal of some sort as I can't see one.

Any help would be useful

breather on the gearbox is blocked, creates pressure and forces oil up the speedo cable.
