My s2 is efi and running decent power, have the choice of standard flywheel or a lightened flywheel when i put it back in the car. Are the lightened flywheels any good or should i just stick with standard?

I had a very light flywheel on my last CVH and i loved it! Took some getting used to with pulling away (had to bring revs up quite a bit otherwise it would bog) but just made the engine feel so much more lively. I had it balanced with the whole rotating assembly tho (from bottom pulley through to flywheel) to remove as much harmonic issue as possible

Can they be used as just a bolt on or do you have to have everything balanced as well?

They can be just bolted on. I balanced mine as that engine was built for high revs.
Most people just bolt on tho with no issues
