Turbo exhaust housing
Hello all...
Really need some help... Trying to swap over my standard exhaust housing to a Cossie .48... As I'm using a crazycage tubular manifold..
Has anyone got any pics on how the actuator is ment to go and fit..!?

Did you use the escort actuator and bracket..!?

You may have to make or modify that bracket so that the wastegate can open and close properly, have ya tried un bolting it and putting the actuator onto the wastegate and see where it sits with enough movement

Cos as far as I remember the actuator I got at work has a slight kink in the bar

I'll sort some out wont be till the morning, by looking though you have to move the bracket as most actuators are about that length

May need to use a Cossie actuator and bracket.
Is the compressor a standard RST T3, have you just changed the turbine housing?

It's Standard RST Compressor housing and actuator, I have just changed the turbine housing correct.

Actuators, the definitive guide..
Here are three -31 actuators all for Cosworth's.
The one on the left is a 2wd Cossie T3 actuator.
The one in the middle is a 4wd sierra Cosworth T3 actuator.
The one on the right is a 4wd Escort Cossie T34 & T28 actuator.
The lengths are slightly different on all of them and as a result they all have these different rod ends too...

I guess your planning on a bigger turbo later on? Or this will be the worlds laggiest 185bhp RST with a .48 turbine and stock compressor!

It's a turbo technics stg3 t3 but due to tubular manifold I need to run a Cossie rear housing...
