I really wanna buy escort rs turbo shell and restore it..

Any advice on what to look out for and tips..

Also what are they like on long drives.. I.e. if I wanted to drive to lemans or nurburgring.

I had a white 1 about 10 years ago but only used it on short drives

rust rust rust and rust its all fixable only time and money build it right it will go anywhere took my escort to spain drove around for 3 weeks drove it back again no trouble at all

If ya get one off here it should be respectable but alway look for rust, check the floor numbers ain't bin tampered with, check for crash damage, as said build it properly and look after it and it will run forever,

Mine's daily drive @ the min, ain't missed a beat so far... Done a 400 mile round trip in one day coupla weeks back an all running like a sack of shit....
