Default Idle issue

Hi everybody,

I'm having trouble with my rs, it won't idle, i can get it to start with a wee push down on the metering flap then once it does give it some revs but as soon as i leave the gas it just dies, can any one give a list of the basics to check through to see if it's something basic i'm missing?

Any help is much appreciated

Thanks,

Craig.

There's a fuse in the fuse box with a pic of heated seat in it think its a 30 amp it's something o do with the fuel injection mine kept cutting out until I figured out I'd taken the fuse out to test my fan!!

Will most likely be an intake air leak (the flap relies on a perfect vacuum to keep to sucked down), or poorly adjusted idle mixture/rpm screw (Metering unit/Throttle body).

Thanks for the replys and suggestions, i know it needs set up but i was hoping it would run enough to get it moted and taxed so i could get it out to the tuners.

I'll have a look for that fuse and check all my pipework for a possible leak.
