This has always bugged me. Why on the box are there two identical sized holes next to one another for the clutch cable?
I always use the outer one (nearest n/s wing) but i wondered if there was a reason for having two as id imagine the cable would hook to the fork at an odd angle like \

Anyone know?

 

Maybe for lesser specc'ed models using a smaller clutch, 1.1 and 1.3 etc, then the cable would go in the inside hole...?

 

I looked at the guys s1 on this forum with the clutch issue, his cable was in the wrong hole.

 

Was his in the hole closest to the engine then?

 

I'd always thought the second hole was for left hand drive cars as the cable would come at a different angle I'm probably wrong though lol

 

No the nearer to the inner wing hole, made the cable run at a unnatural angle. The clutch arm was shorter than on my car.
