Does anybody know the name for these/where to get them?
Like two pin roundy plug thingy

I saw them for sale on ebay a while ago and now I actually need one I can't remember what they are called.

 

Is it the blue plug your after mate? If so a mk6 van uses the same plug, that's where I got mine from

 

That plug is used on most MK6's into the rad top hose. Plenty of MK6's in scrap yards.

 

Or if you change your fan switch to a mk3 item you can use spade connectors which are much less prone to burning out.

 

does the mk3 one operate at the same temps?

 

You can get the cooler degree switch for a cosworth from MSD which fits straight into the stat housing on an rst, and the plugs for that era sierra are the same too, i bought a new old stock fan power loom off ebay cause my plug had melted, and it worked perfectly.

But as said the newer stuff should use same plug, i believe the plug on the back of some fans is the same too, i know XR's use same plug, and my GF's mk4 fiesta has same plug on the fan too.

Beware people selling em on ebay for like £40 for the plug claiming they're no longer available, cause theres plenty options left yet!
