Hi guys, just a quick one... im about to buy a vibra mount, assumed i wanted the one on the left which is a 86 spec but thought i would compare to mine... and found i have the one on the right (88 spec)
this is because i used the mount off my old 89 xr3i.
Just wanted to make sure that it doesnt matter if you use the newer mounts and their housings on the older cars? It all seemed to fit ok when i fitted everything.

Yes mate all of the mounts will fit good old ford have kept the same style for the cvh no difference at all the first mounts I had we're the standared ones off the car and it wasent untill they failed that I put s2 ones in my estate turbo and I only put them in because that's all speed shack had on he's shelf

th different mounts relate to different car for rxample mk3 fiesta have a longer deeper bottom lug like the middle one but mk2 fieta is smaller like th 1st one, thy a not all escort parts

My thought exactly, iirc 84FB and 89FB are Fiesta parts (MK2 / MK3)
