Default Which fans??

Right,

Got an airtec fmic an alloy rad, but not bought fans yet. Think there meant to go between rad an cooler, but which fans do I buy an where do I mount? On the rad or on the cooler? An do i buy fans that push the air or ones that pull the air?

Confused.com!

Any help!!

I have twin spal fans on mine mounted between the rad and cooler, think you'll need fans to push air though the rad, had a quick look on eBay and it looks like the fans blades can be swapped round to make them suck or blow

my airtec rad and front mount has the fans inbetween the 2 mounted on the rad, they need to blow on the rad as they are infront of the rad.

Nice one, weren't sure whether they needed to pull air thru the intercooler sort of thing! Are your water temps ok?

Cheers

Its never overheated, although the engine thats in at present does run a bit hotter than the last 2 have

I will have to see how they cope when the zetec turbo is fitted.

Edit to add we put a new relay and all new wiring in for the fans when we fitted them,

If the fans are mounted between the rad and ic, they have to blow through the rad into the engine bay, hence sucking air through the ic from the front of the car...
