Rs turbo dump valve?
Hi all I'm new to all this and had a question for anyone who has the answer I have just got a s2 RS turbo and was wondering if I took off the dump valve if it would chatter and if so would it chatter at the same rpm as when it dumped and would tacking off the dump valve affect performance thanks in advance.

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
the fiesta has the cone filter directly on the end of the comp housing whereas the escort (assuming its still on mfi) has the metering head between the turbo and the filter which deadens the compressor stall (the sound you know as chatter). the t3 turbo doesnt need a dv as its a robust unit besides, mfi works better without one. you can get airleak issues with mfi, esp if the correct dv26 (twin piston) dump valve is used. i get the chatter sound loud and clear at 15psi.
