Series 1 tickover at 3000 revs!
as the title states, after changing my fuel filter and dizzy cap, rotor arm and spark plugs, my series 1 is sitting at 3000 revs on tickover.i had a look at the adjustment screw but it is seized solid and is damaged in a way that only allow you to try and tighten and not loosen! is this a common thing on these cars?

Air leaks on MFI generally result in a stall, if it were EFI then air leak would be my first shout too.
The things you have changed shouldnt have any effect on the idle speed so must be a coincidence, check your TB butterfly isnt sticking open a bit, throttle cable might be caught on something?
Idle screw is often really really tight yes, pain in the arse!
