Hi just bought a manual boost control for my rst and have an animal vavle been reading on here it is possible to run an on off to the animal vavle and control boost that way is that the best way our should I use the manual boost control car is currently running 23 psi with unlimited ecu thanks

Personally I'd stick with the amal valve mate there better than a manual boost controller as they don't seem to spike.

If you are going to use another boost controller , i think it's best to just use 1.
So if you are going to use the "manual" boost controller leave the AMAL valve disconnected.
Most on here will say it is best to keep using the amal valve and get it rejetted.
Got no idea what the best is , but i'm using a turbosmart boost T bleedvalve until i get the amal valve rejetted.

Is it worth putting the animal valve on a switch so I can turn it off and on don't real won't to be running 21psi

Sorry for correcting you but it drives me mad..
It is an AMAL valve and an ACTUATOR.
If you disconnect the plug on the amal valve it will lower the boost , but then you would always have to open the hood and disconnect it or plug it in..
Better to buy a boostcontroller with different stages..
