There is an s2 that's in bits on this forum that I'm really looking at getting but just wondered what you guys may think of buying an s2 in bits and putting it back together

If its the white one m8 do it, as they are a piece of cake to put back together

The only problem with buying in bits is you don't really know what condition they are in until it's back together. Also you may find there's a lot more missing than you think! If it's cheap enough then it's worth a go as they are so easy to work on

I've never worked on an s2 but I've pulled apart more mk6 escorts then I can remember

But like you say Phil and I've had the same advice elsewhere it's a big leap of faith that what I buy really is everything I'm gonna need as i don't have deeeep pockets at the moment

But I really do want some turbo and this seems a potentially very cheap way of getting it.

By the way Phil I'm still very interested in your fez but I'm still waiting for my race engines to sell
