Not having a good day
Council has painted the garage doors of all the lock ups a horrible brown colour. Looks like they must have watered down the paint as you can still see the old shitty green colour underneath. Oh and there is flakes of old paint insde and outside the garage from where they rubbed it down .
Tried to fit my Cossie filter and the fucker is too big, the trumpet is a poor shape and cant get a good grip for the clamp and so keeps falling off. £70 wasted me thinks. Had to cut up a perfectly good boost hose trying to make it fit and still no joy .
Thought I would fit my coil pack and the bracket I got from trigger wheels who told me it would fit a CVH head doesn't actually fit. The holes for the mounting the coil pack to the bracket are marginally too small but there is not enough material left around the hole to be able to enlarge it.
And to top that off I soaked my feet when closing the garage door from all the rain that had gathered while it was open .

No, Dojj normally waffles far more than that!
Kermitt, my cossy filter didn't fit either, i bought it from puss who had modified it to fit by cutting slots along the trumpet, much like many exhausts have on the slip joint, the trumpet can be closed up very slightly and the hose clamp get a good grip on it.
You can also try heating your silicone hose in boiling water, this softens the hose enough to stretch it on.
Good luck
