Default coolant temp sensor

Is there anyway a faulty coolant temp sensor can cause bad cold starting? Can it be tested like bridging the connector?

yeah it can cause bad starting, don't think you can test by bridging.

Yes, it will under/over fuel if not working correctly, and no bridging it will not work you will need a new one to try.

Went to order one today but they said theres three different colour ones?? Does anyone know what colour it is I need?
