Default Steering column bushes

Theres seems to be a lot a play on my steering wheel so just wondered if anyone knows how to check if it's the bushes?

Also you can hear it's loose when the engine is at low revs.

No, Mate. Un bolt and remove the steering wheel, remove the steering wheel cowling with a few screws and there is 4 x 13mm nuts to remove and the steering link sleeve slides off and they are at the bottom of this IIRC.

The diagram was very helpfull . Fitted the bushes but the steering wheel is very heavy now . Can you overtighten the steering wheel when fitting it?
