had a few puffs o white exhaust fumes today at lets say a good speed, then nothing, thot head gasket but would o been constant white smoke, could it be unburnt fuel

unburnt fuel is black

possabilities could include:

head lifting at high revs
cracked block
cracked head
condensation in exhaust
head gasket showing signs of departure....

wouldnt worry too much unless it gets worse, keep an eye on coolant level.

I had loads of white smoke and was expecting it to be the head being cracked or something similar. After spending a wad having it pressure checked and rebuilding it turned out the turbo needed rebuilt problem solved after that.

i think it was a piece of scum or build up burning , never done tht speed since the build , so a piece o dirt burning up , havnt had any probs since,
