Default scuttle panel

just wondered if anyone has fitted a scuttle panel on a s2, mine is rotton and leaks water into the car by the screen so needs doing, how bad are they to do or is it a body shop job? cheers

depends on your skill but its a windae out job and it will be alot worse than you think. i scrapped mine cause of it lol still got the new panel though

Holy shit u scrapped it? How bad can it get? Mine has got one hole about an inch long on the passenger side just below the window seal, I wud do it myself but if its bad I'll get a body shop to do it. Did u get a genuine Ford panel or pattern?

Quite a big job, you may find when the dash is out that it will be rotten in the bottom corners of window/scuttle area

just take the window out then replace rust with metal mine was in the passage side but went behind the dash

Cheers mate, yeah its still here and running fine, Its a totaly different car to the focus, can't really compare as they are so different...
Its a mk1 rs I have, not the one in my sig, thats my mates

It just a pattern panel. Took the windae out and there was a bout 7 inches missing either side couldve fixed it but I'd stripped it down and it was rotten would be cheaper buying a finished car. That and I was driving at work and the back of the dash went on fire.
