Default Rod pin removal

I can not seem to get the pin or of the rods! Any secret to do this??

The pins are pressed in and will need to press them out. No circlip

Not sure about your particular Mahle pistons but does the pin have to be removed from a certain direction only ?

Also heating up area with say a hairdryer may help with removal.

if they are standard mahle pistons with ford rods they need pressing out, or if you are feeling a bit homebrew a socket slightly smaller than the pin, and a big hammer

As above, heat the up (properly fucking hot) and tap the pin out.

TBH you are best off taking them to a local engine shop as they will have a decent press and piston support. Many places don't like doing them because they crack the skirts because the piston is badly supported.

DIY stylee will probably end in tears tho mate
