A mate of mine is going away for awhile so he has given me his zvh engine, (it is in pieces though)
he thought it was a 2l but its a 1.8 (how he got confused when its stamped quite clearly on the block i do not know!)
He had bought a felpro head gasket from burton because he thought it was a 2l
Part number cv704.

My question is should i be using this gasket or an original ford RST one?
The quantrum guide says to use an RST one as the bore size of the 1.8 is only 80mm so very close to the standard 79.96mm rst engine. but burton say on their website that the felpro one is good for 1.6/1.9 cvh AND 1.8/2l zvh engines.

Bit confused here as the bore on a 2l is 84 mm?

I have the old gasket which is a smaller bore (so suitable for the engine) and all of the waterways have the holes in the right places.....the bought felpro one has all the right holes in the right places apart from one waterway.
Can anyone shed some light on this and tell me which headgasket to use please!
Also he had given me some headbolts that he bought for the engine but because of his cock up with gaskets im unsure if they are the correct length....how long are they meant to be?
