Having problems with reverse gear,it selects fine and when clutch is released starts to move off as normal then keeps jumping out of gear.All other gears are fine and all select as they should,any ideas why it may be doing this?

 

at a guess,Could just need the selector rod adjusted on the clamp at the gearbox end OR bent selector fork or worn dogs, if its this your looking at another box or a re-build.

 

Or the rear gearbag mount has spilt and the gearbag is lifting in reverse?

 

Cheers mate, will book it in to be looked at ,if its needing a rebuild i will drive it til it packs up.

 

thats the best thing to do, if its knackered its knackered lol, i got through four BC boxes before i converted to MTX75 on mine
