Default Brake bias valve

Hi. I have just bought another series 2 and got told the rear brakes need bleeding. We have passenger side done fine but the drivers side will not bleed. We have un seized the brake bias valve and yet it still will not do anything. When you put your foot on the brake the drum still moves. Was wondering if anyone had any advice. Need to get it sorted then it's for a few hours on the dyno.

Thanks

Maybe a seized slave cylinder, have you taken the drum off yet to see.

Yes Mate seems to work ok. If you put a pry bar on the bias valve you can get the wheel to nearly lock just can't get it to work properly

Is the car "under load" when you bleed the rears as if not the bias valve could be shut when you bleed - if you bleed with the car jacked in the air the valve shuts fully and will not bleed.

As above, put a jack under the swing arm you are bleeding.

You can by pass them, but really to do a proper job you will need to do a lot more than just that.
