Question RST/3i Roll bar question

Anyone got a pic of a perfect roll bar?

Took mine off few weeks ago while doing a bit of resto/mod work, and it appears the drivers side of roll bar is bent a bit?

Im not sure if thats the shape its supposed to be, i thought it'd be straight both sides but its not symmetrical. Left picture is the slight bend i'm on about.

Car drove nice n straight before, no tracking issues. I had a smacked roll bar on other escort when i first got it and it'd cracked the passenger bracket too so wheel was couple inches back in arch but this one looked and drove mint.

Opinions?

(roll bar is yet to be wired and primed/coated obv)

Its so you can remove the gearbox without droping the rollbar. Nothing weird about it, its just crap

Lol as simple as that, seems retarded.

Don't you need swap box for 1600i setup

No i think the subframe/gearbox support is different though, and few other bits. But it's not cheap enough to bother with on a daily road car. Especially when i have another project currently at bare shell stage :/

No, you need the endcase swapped to a MK3 or MK5 Escort. Not the whole gearbox, although it may need new bearings doing this.
