Need 2 new doors for my rst :(
Hey
My doors have in some strange way in ½ a year rustet just near the mirrors so now I can put a needle through the door
NO other rust on the car whatsoever... really strange..
So I need 2 new doors.. and ford quoted me at £293 for each door. Is this bad?

no £293 sounds about right for a rip off!
best off getting to good condition doors second hand or maybe getting yours reskinned! any good body shop should be able to sort it for ya!

Mate if i was you i'd get some solid doors from a breakers for no more than about £10-20 each, (i assume there are scrappys in denmark as there are here?) have them sprayed up (the ford ones would have to be painted anyway) fit your own door cards window mechs mirrors etc, the doors dont even have to be off a turbo, and you will be nearly £600 better off!

Have been calling scrappers but no-one had any withput holes or beginning rust. Got some discount at ford so now im "only" paying £220 pr door. Might aswell repaint the whole car as I doubt the painter will be able to hit the color.
But I haven't got the place to take the car apart
