Hopefully going to be attempting to replace the front panel and crossmember this weekend with my brother, when it comes to cutting the old one off etc, am i best off putting a bar between the inner wings so the so that the front wont toe out sorry if it dont make sense,
Or what would be the best way to replace it step by step ??

Just spot weld a bar between both chassis rails at the front so it don't move when u cut it out.

You don't really need to weld a bar on unless you have removed the ARB and TCA's.

If they are still in place, cut the old crossmember out, place the new one in and bolt up the ARB. This will then get it all aligned and allow you to weld it up.

Once youv'e done the crossmember you can then do the front panel. That's how I did it and it all bolted back together straight afterwards. Just be carefull what you cut away when you remove the crossmember though.

that sounds easier to be honest so when i come to cutting the x member am i best of leaving the arb bolted on till its nearly off then swap it over with the new one.

When i did mine i left the nuts on the tca's and left the roll bar itself bolted to the mounts and just undone the 4 bolts at the very front of the mounts so as to leave the 2 rear bolts still in place in the chassis leg. Then just supported the engine and box with a jack and undone the gearbox cradle bolts then used the jack to lower it all down a touch until it was clear and started chopping the old one out.
