rear disc people, handbrake cable
yes i know its been covered a million times, but just need to clarify! lol
i know im supposed to be looking for an early rs2000 cable, single piece, not the 2 piece item from the later models
my local parts place lists a cable from 1990-95, im guessing thats the correct age? the only bit that confuses me is that he says it lists 2 separate pieces, a small section (which i guess runs from the handle to the half moon) then the rest is a single piece. is that the correct 1 to look for?
also, do i use the short piece of the rs2000 item from handle to the half moon, or do i need to use that part off an rs turbo cable and mate them up?
sorry if its an obvious question, just dont wana end up with the wrong bits

I'm pretty sure u need the 2wd cable and u have to use the half moon thing thats already on your car... Not 100% tho so will have a look for ya

im a tad gutted about using a section of the original cable, as i cant find it
so looks like im gonna be buying 2 fuckin cables now!

test fitted this today
i got hold of an rs2k cable, plus a new short front cable from the handle to the half moon, so they are all good.
my only issue is obviously as said the rs2k half moon is way too big and fouls the sides of the tunnel, but i dont an rs turbo item to fit instead, so gonna have to source 1.
also, how do people secure the cable etc, cable ties around the tie bar and clipped up infront of the tank like? dont want it hanging down, but dont want to secure it and find out its not gonna pass an MOT like it
