hey folks i was driven my car yesterday and it cut out. try to start it again and nothin! the battary was roasting and it wouldnt even run the fan that i have hard wired on a switch but the earth from the fan goes to the shell! i think there is maybe a live touchin the shell somewhere? would this cos this to happen? thanks alan

 

have you considered the alternator maybe overcharging the battery causing it to get hot? check all your earths and give em a little clean up, may be tottaly wrong but just trying to throw a few ideas your way

 

Hi geez the same happened to me the other day! It cut out while driving and had no power at all anywer in car! Was down to a bad earth in the end! Check all ur earths! Clean em up!
