whent to pick up boot lid and get windscreen fitted,
she made it 2 miles up the road and died a slow death.
got a tow home, and got her running again, (Thanks Rich) but running like a dog, she is missing on one of the cylinders i think
changed the plugs, leads and coil still cant figure it out.

i did get her running in the end, i have disconnected the Grey plug of the metering unit, and it runs perfect.
revs up through the range ect.

What is this plug for?

And will it do any harm being disconnected?

Also for replacment, will and S2 meter unit fit an S1?

Anyone have any Idea's?? Thanks

Grey plug that connects to the black block on the side,which controls the flow of fuel going into the metering unit.

I have a s1 unit connect to my series 2,so yes they do fit either way.

I'm not sure why disconnecting that would make it run better...sorry unable to help on that..
