PREP IT YOURSELF!

Don't get it shotblasted at the powdercoaters as the baffle plates might hold onto some unwanted blast media. Once you start it and the oil moves round it it'll dislodge all the sand-type material Potentially scrapping your new engine!

Cheers mate, as look as you clean it down properly and put a few layers on primer on to everything youll be fine mate!!

Bencossie - literally mate clean what ever you are spraying up sand down with a fine snadpaper nothing to harsh, give it a clean again, spray the object with primer with a side to side motion try to spread the paint as best as possibly let dry another coat of primer once dry!!

once your second or third layer of primer has dryed go on with the colour BUT DO NOT do a thick layer straight away start with a very very thin layer....let dry and second layer again very thin but the second layer should cover all the primer!

the third layer you can do abit thicker and forth same as third.

My rocker cover i ended up doing about 6 layers of paint, and turbo chamber and plenum had about 3 layers of chrome.
