Default Wheel offset?

Thinking about getting a new set of wheels.

The ones i'm looking at come in a 16x7.5. What would be a good offset to have? I find my current wheels just sit in the archs a bit too much.

What are you running, (pref with pics )

im running 16x7 superleggras with et42 focus offset with no rubbing lock to lock. i would imagine 7.5 would need to be around standard offset not to touch your shocks et36.5.

what offset are standard escos wheels? et25?

Hi i've got mine on 7.5 x 16 and a et38 and with 205 tyres and have about 2mm between the tyre and shocks.
Mot man said it was ok just said it could rub on the front on full lock but it seems to be ok so far.

Edit : mine has rear disc conversion

ET35 is a good allrounder imo.

So would 38 stick out the arch more than 35?

The wheels I want only come in a et38 in the 16"

No mate, the higher the ET the further in the wheels sit (closer to the shocks)
So et38 sits further in than et35.
Nothing a small set of spacers cant fix.
