orgainic is eaxctly what it says 'organic' design is similar to that of a 'normal' clutch (ie full circle) but the marterial used makes the clutch much less likely to slip. this is is a 'fast road clutch'
the other option is a paddle clutch and it is just that a set of paddles (usually cerametalic) rivveted to a driven plate this gives greater claming pressure on the flywheel and the clutch will only slip under MASSIVE torque loading.
this is calssed as a 'race clutch' as it is developed for use in race situations where clutch control is not important
These plates can be used on the road (i have one as do a lot of other people on this board) however they are renowned for being arkward to operate etc. (although im so used to mine i dont notice it)
