Winter time working is a nightmare, I'm glad I have nothing (touch wood) to do!

So i may aswell quit now and sell it off as things like sorting out the brakes etc are gonna cause me hassle and a shit load of money i imagine.
That would be a shame mate

yeah i know mate, i think if it come to it they wouldnt make me get rid of it, they just get fed up with it sitting in their garage and it never moving. I want to finish it but ive got so much i'd need to buy for it to finish the cossie management etc. I keep thinkin shall i break it and that'd probably give me enough money to buy a nice enough standard one.

mike can you not send it to jano to finish it, or part of it? Mite be cheaper in the long run or give you some more inspiration to crack on if it was running etc?

ive got to sort out the brakes as never had good pedal feel. To finish management ive got to get pectel board, chip, coil pack driver board, map sensor, tps, air filter, 2 new front tyres, efi rev counter, plus pay the remaining 200quid to jano for the ryan engine bay loom. Seems like a massive mole hill to get it finished lol, and thats without any problems i may encounter like for example if the level 8 ecu doesnt work properly as bought it off a member off here who assured me it worked but thats his word against mine.

I might have a lot of thim bits mike, I'm at a crossroads with mine at the minute, its either throw the towel in and break it, or keep throwing money in

Reduce the spending , get it running and enjoy it

I personally wouldnt buy another rst, would go for a cossie instead

I've been using mine recently quite abit and don't feel as if i've been wasting my money (if that makes sense).

But the clouds are looming and I know its coming off the road soon for its clutch and efi, but the bits are ready so shouldn't be too long off the road (providing I can get in booked in somewhere)

cheers

Autumn greetings from Finland. Currently -1 and roads full of studded tyres & salt. Cars all around horrible grey and dirty. RST & Cabriolet has been in the storage since september. Really dont have any plans to spend more money in this winter.

Dont say nothing about bad weather and cold winter there "south" .. U.K
We had last winter -25-30 celsius over 1 month and 70-100cm of snow.
Have to see mid April if weather is good for driving.
