Default Back on the road!!

Finally after much time and money spent the car is back on the road with a newly refurbed turbo. AET said the one I bought from them was fooked so I asked Wilky to refurb my original one I had lying in the garage and upgrade it to stage 1, cheers.

But still some gremlins to sort out....one of which I can't hear the turbo spooling up like I did before and not sure if my gauge is reading anything.

Just wondering could this be due to me taking the new actuator off the AET turbo and fitting to my newly refurbed turbo. I never adjusted anything just fitted it straight on. Mind you it does run well and smooth, just needs setup though.

How much boost can I reliably run using an Airtec FMIC, Magnex exhaust and chipped ECU without melting it again?

Just to add its got a bleed valve fitted that I wound in to reduce the boost to run in the new engine. Would it matter if the hoses were fitted to the turbo and actuator the wrong way round? I mean is it a one way valve?

it is a one way valve mate but just get it run in and down to a tuner and you will see the difference

OK might have a try and turn the connections around. Hopefully I can do this from underneath rather than taking it apart again.
