Default Squeaky brakes

Hi guys,

not long owned another series 2 and I have a squeaking noise from the front brakes at low speeds.

The brakes are 4 pot willwood callipers with vented cossie discs and once i've been driving for a short while they squeak when i'm coming to a stop. I've checked everything on the system and can't seem to find a problem.

Any advice appreciated.

Cheers, Tel

I noticed they have used copper slip on there. Only had a quick glimpse. If my new wheels up turn up tomorrow, i'll have a check before the wheels go on.

Cheers mate

take the callipers off and the pads out and clean off all the brake dust, check the pads are a good fit and then refit with a smear of copper grease on the pad backing plates and sliders, hopefully that should sort it 8)
