while the car was off the road i changed the clutch and put a hydraulic clutch on removing the cable. But now the clutch is like an on and off switch there is no bite it just goes with a big jerk and then your off. The new clutch was a sasch i dont think there anything special any help on this asap will be greatly appreciated as when this is done it will be ready for the road again

could be the pivot points for the master cylinder not being in an optimum position, or the master cylinder is not matced to the slave, i doubt its anything to do with the clutch.

Sound like something is getting stuck maybe, got any pics of the conversion, master placement, rod to pedal, slave placement?
