clutch problem

clutch problem
while the car was off the road i changed the clutch and put a hydraulic clutch on removing the cable. But now the clutch is like an on and off switch there is no bite it just goes with a big jerk and then your off. The new clutch was a sasch i dont think there anything special any help on this asap will be greatly appreciated as when this is done it will be ready for the road again

could be the pivot points for the master cylinder not being in an optimum position, or the master cylinder is not matced to the slave, i doubt its anything to do with the clutch.

is it bled properly so all the air is outta the system?
yes it is bled ok but i did double check it earlier to rule it out

for some reason i had the same problemi changed the cable thinking that lol then i found it was the ratchet which i replaced cut it to fit perfectly and put a heavy duty adgustable clutch pedal which should last years and years lol im running a 4 paddle racing clutch it does jerk a bit in 1st gear which cures if u rev it a it more in 1st.. pm me if u need any help

Sound like something is getting stuck maybe, got any pics of the conversion, master placement, rod to pedal, slave placement?
