Default Any1 used c20xe pistons on zvh??

Basically iv got some c20xe pistons in my shed, was hoping to get my engine bored out to 86mm to accept them.

Any1 ever used them?? do the need machining down to get the correct c/r?
Iv bin told that they have a c/r of 7:5:1 once fitted.

Was going to get standard rods machined to suit the gudgeon pins and use arp bolts.

Any help will be much appreciated.

oh that aint to bad then. well im takin block to my m8 2moz so he can strip in then he's gonna send it to a well known company in leicester and get it all done for me (hopefully can get that done m8's rates lol as he had his done there) then he can build it for me when he's got it back.... think its £120 to be bored out, £20 per piston to be machined then dunno how much it'll cost to be decked. that good price???

I paid £25 per cylinder for boring, the pistons were £57 each, having the little ends honed to fit was £20, block decked was £40, then having th pistons modified for the oil spray jets was £10 per piston. My block had already had the oil galleries blocked off and the water pump and tensioner conversion done to it previously. Where abouts are you mate? Can't see your avator as on my phone.

im from leicester mate. that aint to badly priced then i reckon. took engine to my m8s earlier so he's gonna get it sent off on thursday. he's building the engine for me you see (for free as he owes me alot of favours lol) so your lookin at bout £200 for it all then im happy with that

The standard crank and rods are good for 300bhp. What do you have in mind?
