missing sensor ?

Default missing sensor ?

help!!

does anybody know where the coolant temp sensor is on my s2 ?.
mine doesnt appear to have 1,

+ if anybody has any good ideas why my car runs rough after about 5mins of running it would be much appreciated

have you really looked for it?
it's under/on the inlet manifold, can't really see it from above, but you can from underneath.

Default confused.com

Have looked everywhere at back of head.
Nothing seems to match up with the new sensor i have, apart from a plug that is not being used?. Which makes me question if i have 1 or not. The new sensor has a round two pin type fitting, everything on or under the manifold has an injector type plug. or have i got the wrong sensor?

Coolant temp sensor is at front of the engine, right hand side of exhaust manifold

thats the 1 for the gauge the single wire item in the head

You're looking for a yellow sensor underneath the injector rail

Yep.. one on front of the head by exhaust manifold is for the gauge. Fan switch is on thermostat housing also
