Hi Peeps,
Having troubles with my alarm. My Drivers door has gone to sleep and causing alarm to fail.
this ocurred straight after doing turbo timer wiring.... I used the earth next to the speaker in osf footwell which I no is for Drivers door..... and then this fault occured I thought It mayby because the alarm fitter had wired into ignition aucc.
I have completly removed the Turbo timer and re-cleaned the earth for the door and refitted all the earths making sure that I hadnt left any off and the fault is still there.
Can any1 advise Is there a seperate fuse on this circuit? really pissing me off now.![Wall](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/wall.gif)

Update.......
I Have had front bumper off this moening to fit intercooler and just found that I have traped one of the green wires to the coil behing bumper mount so is shorting to earth ooops!
This should no effect door though, should it? I think It is rev counter wire. am I correct ?

I think the issue is here, the speaker wires and central locking wires are close together, the alarm taps in the drivers side central locking near there or sometimes inside the drivers door. Make sure you haven't tapped into one of these, does the other side still lock? (if so, could be knackered motor drivers side). The green wire on the front is from the coil , one to ecu and the other to the rev counter (i believe)

Cheers lads. going to remove bumper this afternoon and repair wire.
The lock problem has got be with that earth problem. at first I thought I must off left 1 Off as there are about 6 earths to 1 point. but I have checked and recheck again.
Passengers door still locks but slow operation. Its got to be somthing to do with these earths as I unlocked the car and started work.
I have completly removed the Turbo timer and fault is still there. Great Fun these escorts ah!
