Default how much bhp roughly can i get from my setup?

as above it still a project in the garage for now, iv bought some parts i havent fitted them all yet but was wondering how much bhp i should roughly get when i get it setup.

the car is a standard erst s2 mfi the part iv bought are a
piper 285 t2 cam
k&n air filter
magnex st steel exhaust
collins 31 actuator
collins chip with unlimited boost that what it said on ebay? thats all i know on the chip

any advice would be great im hoping to get 200bhp at some point, my mate has a 2.0 clio sport 210bhp and i would like to wipe the smile off his face lol. what other parts can i get that wont break the bank?

if you invest with a better intercooler i would say around the 200mark i think you will fined that your turbo will hold you back there

Best you'll do with that spec is around 175bhp, you need a front mount intercooler (190bhp'ish), and at least a Stage 2 T3 to break the 200bhp barrier, fuelling allowing of course.

as said above. your cooler and turbo are the next thing, but this is providing you have fuel to allow these mods.

Totally as karlos has said, mine was that spec, (nearly identical) with a front mount intercooler and a stage 2 turbo, car did 185brake at 17.5 psi did one run at 19psi but it was aborted because of det (was on tescos finest fuel lol) so probably could have hit 190-195 but i really wasn't chasing penis figures, the impressive figure was 205ft.lb of torque, the car did a 14.4 quarter mile with this set up which should be a fair bit quicker than your mates clio

PLUG ALERT , i have a cooler for sale in my for sale section,

Nope, standard injectors are your only options for mfi,

If you can get one a 5th injector kit is a really good stepping stone for an rs turbo, good for 200 brake and maybe a bit more and no where near as rich off boost.

Rob,
I believe you can run porche bosch injectors but don't quote me on that. Also a 5th injector is a good idea as rob says. MF2 will do the trick.

Yes i totally agree but when on a budget then you have to get the best you can with the funds available. My friend has just sold his mf2 5th injector setup including crossover, driver, wiring loom and injector for 140 pound. EFI setup would cost you in the region of 500-600 for megasquirt with injectors, ecu, loom, inlet plenum, adapter plates ect

5th injector is crude but does work. I'm at 260bhp on mine with one and hoping to squeeze a bit more from it once I get it back on the road

Flywheel mate, although with the above mods you may just scrape 200atw but the Stage 2 T3 will be on it's limits and some good headwork will probably be needed or if not it would certainly help!

thats what mikeanics rollers said lol

It made 169.3 bhp @ the wheels and he told me to add about 20% onto that for my flywheel figure which actually makes it 203.16 bhp @ the fly wheel or is that a bit generous?

don't get me wrong guys im not just making these figures up im just going off what a tuner has told me.

The fly figure is calculated using other varibles not just a pecentage, but rule of thumb is about 15% for FWD so 194.6bhp is probably nearer the mark! If everyone used ATW figures it would be much easier though!

No worrys mate, I was pretty pleased when I found out lol
I forgot something off my spec tho too, ive supposedly (was like this when I bought it) got an overbored bottom end taking it to aroud 1700cc. Weather this makes a difference or not I dont know.

and it does tend to hold 15psi in 4th and 5th due to there being more load I suppose

No worries mate! lol
As if you did your wheel though, nightmare!
Your extra 100cc will make a difference yes, it increases the engines VE a little so all helps to make power.
