Default flat spot on dyno graph?

Any ideas what would be the cause of the flat spot between 4000 - 4250rpm?

The spec is:

1.6 CVH EFi
T3 Turbo
MSD 195 Chip
701 Injectors
Uprated fuel pump
Kent cam and pulley

have you got any more details like a the air/fuel graph or boost pressure graph??
just looks like a bit of torque spike to me as the torque drops off at that point then kinda stabilises to produce the power curve.
it is a bit of funny flatspot cus it almost peaks again afterwards lol.

It probably broke traction. Thats what I'd guess. Or the clutch slipped.

I haven't got any Air/Fuel or Boost pressure graph, thats all they gave me.

I've got an organic clutch fitted, so shouldn't of slipped? Could it be caused by boost dropping off?

could it be the chip not mapped 100% for your engine.

a proper live map would eliminate this.

IMO, no its not that, it's down to the issues I said above.

Wheel broke traction or clutch slip just as Karlos and Christian said above mate. The second 'bump' is probably a boost spike before the wategate opens etc.

Second bump is probably the 'pendulum' effect of breaking and regaining traction.

good point, i thought it could have broken traction opened the waste gate and then closed it again causing a second boost spike when the gate opened for a second time, but yours seems more plausible ie dyno roller catching up with the spinning wheel etcetc.

No idea if this helps confirm anything, but I've got a video of one of the runs aswell..

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O-a0YyUGoxM

Aslong as its the clutch slipping or it just breaking traction I'm not too worried.
