I need a new rad because minei is f@#@#d... So i'm thinking to fit an alloy. The answer is new or used in good working order helping me to save some money??

If i recore mine i need to get my car many days in the garage...and i'm using the car every day... So i need something to be ready to fit ad i can't find a recore on ebay...

Don't bother with 2nd hand when it comes to the likes of radiators.....you won't know how clean it is or whether it leaks etc till you try it, so imo just not worth the bother. Buy a brand new one, job done......and i've had an alloy one for a few years now after recored standard ones and my temps are certainly no worse, load of bollocks (and yes i know brass dissipates heat better blah blah), but i just haven't found this
