i couldnt fit a floor mount in my mk4 escort.
ie/ put it on the flat part of the floor, and it was too near the driver.
put it on the sloping part, and you couldnt get a angle to push the pedals.
its easier just to buy the correct one from compbrake.imo

yap, was thinking of going for the one that compbrake is making straight out of the box to fit the car.

but would like a picture of it mounted!
and a real picture of it, not just the sample picture

Thanks Luca - floor mounting is defo an option but i'm straying towards a pedal box to prevent drilling into the floor pan ..... btw i like your dash arrangement, is that a DASH2? How did you mount the dash in there (looks at it was always meant to be!!).

Franky_db - i have the same prob m8. I'm running a 4x4 cosy set-up in my S2 and want to do away with the mass of ABS gear! I wonder how much of a pain in the a$$ the master cyclinders would be to get too once installed?

I had a bias pedal box mounted to the bulkhead and it was a pain in the ass.

Where it sits in the engine bay it becomes an obstruction again!

The pedal box pictured there keeps everything up behind the dash out the way.
the other type is where the cylinders are in front of the pedal box with a false floor.

Luca - Looking at your pedal box, surely that would be to difficult to fit in a Series 2? The footwells arent massively different, and it doesnt seem Compbrake do a version for the S2(apart from the bulk head mounted one). Like you im not to keen on a bulk head mounted bias box taking up room in the bay.

Try looking on OBP website they offer many options for this.

On fitting mine almost now it is tight in the Fiesta. I have the bonus in some regard in that with bucket seats on solid mounts I can just move the seat backward and get a deeper dished steering wheel or spacer.

Dependant on your cars stripped or trimmed, the best option would be the bulkhead one really OR go for the pedal box with the backward facing cylinders then just carper the false floor... Have to remember though that these are "race" pedal boxes so you have to sacrifcie to get gains else where.
