i think if you have a high performance engine the more frequent you do it the better it is for it. can't understand why people don't change it regular, its a killer if you dont

500 miles from new you mean? I change oil within the first 50 miles on a new engine, then at least 2 further times in the first 1000 miles.

I'd say change oil every 3000-4000 miles thereafter. This is made better if you look after the engine by warming up and cooling down. Technically the oil lasts ALOT longer than that though.

Because my rst is my hobby car year mileage is something like 2000kilometeres so i change oil one time / year. I use Diamond full synthetic 5w40 oil cost something like 20Ł / 4l and ford original filter.

My Lawnmower gets more love than that.

See my post in GD about what happens when you give an engine no love. You must LOVE your CVH engine, or else it will repay you with camshaft failures, conrods exiting through the block and so on.

CVH engines are like women, treat them well and you stand a better chance. OK, so you might treat it well and it'll still fuck you up, but at least you'll know you tried.

every 3k or six months, if you do less than 3k a year you should change oil more often as it degrades quicker as you are not using your car often enough to burn off condensation that has formed in your engine which can cause ludge in your engine like the mayonaise you get from head gasket failure this in turn can wear your crank and cam prematurely and in a cvh the cams and crank need no excuse to start wearing so help it as much as you can!
