when was the first 90s spec rs turbo made

Was lookin to know did they start making these at the start of 1990 or the end of 1989. bought my first rs turbo last nite and it was first registered 04/01/1990

think it was late 89 when 90 spec came out maybe september,im sure i will be corrected by an annorak

my 90 spec was built November '89, registered March '90.
