Hiya,

Guy who had the car before me repositioned the bonnet cable under the bumper... no idea why... but its just snapped!

Is there any way i can get the bonnet open?

with the engine good and cold, you should be able to jack car up safely and then get your arm up to reach the mechanism

Thanks guys. Was bricking it in case i had to bend the bonnet.... still okay with GRS cooler in the way do you think?

i did it with a long pry bar, as engine was hot, just need to lever it over a bit.
then sort the cable once it's open.

 

good stuff, just very annoying! i was planning on taking pictures of various bits i need to ask questions about lol....

This happen to mind not long back ive got full frontal intercooler so was a right pain to open,get a screwdriver and reach up from under front you will feel the latch and take your time cause it can piss you off.
