Question Solid lifters

How many of you guys if any run solid lifters in your turbo's? Went to the roling road last thursday and the guy asked if i still had hydralics,so i said 'yeah' he said 'ok i wont push it all the way then' he said it was something to do with the hydralic ones bending valves at high rpm, never heard of this before and spoken to some other people who have said they are fine

the hydraulic ones can collapse at high rpm's due to only being held up by oil pressure.
for higher revving engine you need solid lifters and a cam designed to run them.

they can also stay pumped up at high revs, not release built up pressure fast enough and valves hit the piston
but never seen it myself would have to be 7k plus i would guess
